Dr. Subhash Gupta

Inexperienced in Acute Liver Failure

Dr. Subhash Gupta does not have any experience in acute liver failure. He has extremely poor judgement and diagnosis. My mother was taken to his supervision very early on however he delayed the transplant and didn’t understand the urgency of the disease eventually leading to my mother’s death. He took my mother’s disease very casually. Even the Liver ICU at Max Saket is poorly managed with inexperienced fellows posted who absolutely have no credentials to take care of such critical cases. ICUs require close watch and constant monitoring but these people only attended couple of times during the day. My Dad being a doctor noticed some grave signs (encephalopathy) developed in my mother’s health which he communicated immediately to Dr. Subhash’s team of doctors including Dr. Kaushal Madan and Dr. Richa, however no one paid due attention at that very instant and given the rapid nature of this disease ultimately led my mother to succumb the very next day. Overall acute liver failure cases require extreme vigilance and quick response which these doctors lack.
