Emergency consultation

I had a rather unsatisfactory experience with the clinic when I urgently needed a telephonic consultation for my mother-in-law, who was suffering from cardiac blockage. Prior to arranging an air ambulance to Mumbai for treatment, I contacted the clinic to schedule the consultation. The staff collected all the necessary information, and assured me that the doctor would definitely call in the evening after 6 PM due to being in the operating theater. However, when I called the clinic again around 4 PM to double-check if the doctor would indeed call at 6 PM, I was informed that they were uncertain and unable to confirm whether the doctor would call that day. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the contradictory statement made during the appointment booking process. Consequently, I wasted an entire day anxiously waiting for the doctor's call. It raises concerns about how someone can provide assurance in such a critical matter as cardiac blockage and then fail to uphold it.
