Excellent service for cardiology in Turkey
I asked to be referred to a cardiologist for heart tests. A professor was found very quickly with a convenient appointment. I attended the appointment- all was very efficient and speedy and cost less than I had expected. A customer liaison officer was provided at the hospital.

كان الهدف من زيارة الهند تلقي العلاج الطبي للسيد سالم عواد ، الذي يعاني من مرض الباركنسون. الهدف كان تغيير البطارية المسؤولة عن التحفيز الدماغي. جرى الاتصال من خلال مكتب المرضى الدوليين في مشفى أرتيميس ومن خلال السادة في ميدجنس . ومن خلال التواصل مع السيد محمد أسامة، استطعنا تأمين الأوراق المطلوبة للسفر إلى الهند من سوريا. عند وصولنا إلى الهند تم استقبالنا من قبل السيد محمد وتم حجز كل المواعيد الضرورية لمقابلة الاطباء وتحديد نوع البطارية. وتم تحديد وقت العملية التي أجريت بخبرة ممتازة . حيث مكث المريض في المستشفى وتلقى الرعاية الممتازة خلال أربعة أيام في المشفى. كان الاهتمام كبيرا والرعاية ممتازة . وكان التنسيق بين المشفى وميدجنس ممتازا.

Changing battery for Parkinson's patient
The purpose of the visit to India was to receive medical treatment for Mr. Salem Awwad, who suffers from Parkinson's disease. The goal was to change the battery responsible for brain stimulation. Contact was made through the international patients desk at Artemis Hospital and through the gentlemen at Medigence. By communicating with Mr. Muhammad Osama, we were able to secure the papers required to travel to India from Syria. Upon our arrival in India, we were received by Mr. Mohamed, and all the necessary appointments were booked to meet the doctors and determine the type of battery. The time of the operation was determined with excellent experience. The patient stayed in the hospital and received excellent care during four days in the hospital. The attention was great and the care excellent. The coordination between the hospital and Medigence was excellent.

Rare cancer gets complicated in diagnosis and remedial actions goes over the ceiling and off-budget
I rated only 2 out of 5 I would like Medigence to publish it so that patients who may face similar situations as I had, can consider or ask preliminary questions before jumping on a flight that is going to cost millions, as it has been my case. I am certainly not putting the blame on Medigence here but the onus of explaining and showing the risks and options available must be shared to each patient. I think this is why we give Star ratings and reviews, so that everyone can improve. From the outset, there are approximately 15-18 million new cancer cases every year worldwide. It so happens that the cancer that I have been diagnosed with have less than a dozen of cases every year. It is to my disadvantage to be in this tiny population - insufficient medical cases to record and report on trials, insufficient cases to trial, insufficient funding for research. Added to this, I have a history of allergies that does not make any treatment straight forward. All the above are facts known to medical institutions and agencies. My review is based after considering the sheer exiguity of related cases, but also as a word of caution not to "pigeon-hole" all patients in same boxes. My medical cost estimate before travelling was given to be around INR3,00,000-INR4,50,000 Final medical cost (excluding travel, living and accommodation) went above INR12,00,000 which is totally out of range, and would not deserve a reliable 5 star rating. Secondly, the agency was not really present when I, as patient, was physically and medically unfit to deal with hospital poor administration/ red tape. There was some other more priority or critical case above me. Doesn't give a nice feeling to hear that there's another critical case which goes above me, does it? A patient is paying good money and wouldn't want to hear agency not available for some other more critical - if it happens once, is ok, but not several times! How did the agency learn that I was not critical enough? When I got admitted, there was not a single day that I got the visit from Medigence. Third, if a patient like me, as a last resort, puts in all money saved during a lifetime career to find medical solutions, I believe it should be the agency to stand by and guide the patient about hospital options, why is a hospital better rated, what are the caveats to be considered, but not to learn after we are already in the hospital that there are administration and hidden charges... I am being very honest and not critical. I know Medigence can be as good as the first few days I spent with Tanmoy, who's been very enterprising and helpful. I only wish for other patients to be well briefed and explained on all aspects of the medical trip prior to travelling. Doctors, medical institutions, costs associated, additional charges to be aware of, risks and uncertainties that may be considered.

I am Mrs P. TEELUCK from Mauritius and was admitted at Artemis hospital end of June 2022, for a complicated Surgical and Medigence was our medical agent onsite. From day 1, on reaching the airport, we, my family and me, were immediately taken in-charge by the Medigence team who took care of all the required procedures at the hospital from admission to discharge. I will say that we have got a hassle free service by the dynamic team of Medigence especially during those difficult time where we need to concentrate in the healing process rather than other issues. Hair Transplant procedure
I have to start by explaining that I have had two hair transplants in Turkey, one in the Ekol Hospital in Izmir and The other At this hospital, the difference between them is chalk & cheese. Or, if you prefer black and white, Ekol is all about making money, not patient care; I could not fault the nursing staff or the surgeons. They were friendly people, but the managerial staff were just money-grabbing thieves. I say that because, by the time I left, I had paid almost double what I was quoted. Now this hospital, all of the staff were brilliant, from the representative managers to the doctors and nurses who could not have been kinder; their expertise was unquestionable, their dedication was unmistakable, and they did it all smiling. I felt like I was the only person in the hospital. All I can say truthfully is if you are considering any surgical work to be done in Turkey, I would certainly come to this hospital; I did a lot of research before I left England, and I thought I had done it well. We all make mistakes. Luckily for me, this hospital put it right ; I cannot thank them enough. They were brilliant in every way. Yours very sincerely Frank Tough, a.k.a. Frank Henry.

Bilateral Hip Replacement Package - Artemis
I was in contact with several agencies that assist with arranging medical treatment in India. Medigence very easily stood out for the clarity of information, quick response, and patience as I considered options for my surgery. However, their services did not end with my arrival in India. They were in contact with me every day of my 1 month stay, insuring the hospital was following through with its commitments and once released from the hospital, arranging 24 hour nursing care for the first week when I was still on IV antibiotics and with limited mobility. They also arranged my Physical Therapy sessions in my hotel room so I could make as fast a recovery as possible. I highly recommend working with Medigence to arrange and assist with your medical needs in India or elsewhere that they offer services.

The Medigence experience
It is with deepest gratitude that I pen this BIG THANK YOU review to team Medigence for being the life-saver (literally) to my wife in the hour of most critical need. Medigence was recommended with acclamation from a business colleague who had earlier obtained optimal care for a family member. On Feb 6th 2021 we contacted Mr. Amit Bansal and explained our medical travails and omen. Amit and his adroit team established appropriate an process of care immediately upon first contact; assessing our situation and providing preliminary feedback within hours. From pre-travel evaluation, logistics, consultations, visa assist (under hash and impossible COVID19 conditions), transit flight support, to accommodation provision, designated case ambassador, international patient and attendant care, appropriate treatment procurement, transportation, daily assistance, pre & post-surgery care and support, travel arrangements and much more not mentioned; Team Medigence facilitated care, but also the healing process through service nonpareil. Amit formed a private care and support network that included family and next-of-kin, Medigence personnel, and when necessary, hospital care givers in ensuring the very best of care, treatment and comfort. It can be immensely intimidating and fearful accessing care in languages and cultures different from your own. It was indeed trepidatious, to even contemplate survival over 14k kilometers from home. Team Medigence ensured we were culturally acclimatized on the day of arrival. The intelligence apparatus employed by Mr. Amit Bansal, Mrs. Guneet Bhatia, Mr. Tanmoy Guha, and indeed the entire team was not just beyond expectations but certainly emulative. Upon completion of formal treatment, Medigence helped us celebrate a very special occasion with a gifted excursion to the Taj Mahal. This, a crowning jewel of our travel accelerated the healing process without doubt. This was truly magical moments in the midst of a storm. Ayushi, our consummate host was the diamond on the crown on July 12th 2021. The entire Medigence team labored to make the whole process seamless, transparent and objective. Many perish not from ailment, but for lack of access to available care. Medigence has effectively become the conduit to international healthcare. We now have a fighting chance through Medigence. As we pen this review over a year later, we continue to experience postoperative patient care as our medical ambassadors – team Medigence continue to provide care through their postoperative care program.
